About the Organization

Im the horticulture agent in Richmond county with NC Cooperative Extension. I’m creating an ornamental garden with native species at our demonstration farm. With many people moving to the county from across the state and country, I want to be able to show them how to make natives look nice in a landscape. I also plan for this location to be a count site for the great pollinator census. I also plan to do other educational programs related to pollination and insects with both children and adults. Plant propagation is another workshop I enjoy teaching and these plants will allow for many others to take them home and put them in their landscaping and know of to make more for themselves and others.
