About the Organization

Seedlings is a wonderful small preschool in Hillsborough, just a few minutes from Backyard Butterflies. As a parent there I love to see how much time is spent exploring and appreciating the outdoors and how much their amazing teachers support their curiosity. This is also a group of kids that really loves bugs! The plants would be used to create a pollinator garden used for educational purposes with the Seedlings kids and may help inspire us parents to do more native planting! One of the many things I love about Seedlings is how much time is spent marking the change of seasons. The slow process of watching a native planting garden grow, bloom, and hopefully play host to moths, butterflies, and any insect visitors would be a perfect addition to their days. This would be a great opportunity for these young learners to be introduced to the importance of the plants and pollinators in their community.
