About the Organization

Three years ago I began converting my school’s empty courtyard into a pollinator garden with a special focus on helping Monarch butterflies. We have a lot of milkweed plants, but we are now working to incorporate other native plants that are host plants to other pollinators. As a Biology teacher, I am also able to use this garden to educate students on the importance of pollinators and teach them how to care for nature. Since we have about 2000 square feet of garden space, any plant donations are a tremendous help.
