About the Organization

Cary Presbyterian Preschool is a non-profit, community-based mission where children of all faiths, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds are welcome. We maintain three large garden beds for the purposes of teaching children about gardening, native plants, insects, and sustainable practices. I am the Science Specialist at the school and I design and implement the gardening activities for the children. I am responsible for the maintenance of the garden beds and can guarantee that no pesticides or herbicides are used. I am excited about the possibility of using native plants from the Backyard Butterflies Plant Grant in our garden. Thank you for your consideration.
