The Hillsborough Moth Crawl has always been, and will always be, free. That’s not a detail, it’s the whole point! We believe that access to the natural world and participation in citizen science shouldn’t cost anything. Everyone deserves a chance to stand under the lights and have their mind, heart, and soul changed by communing with the MOTHS.

But free to attend doesn’t mean free to run. As the Crawl has grown, so have the costs that come with it, and like everyone right now, we’re feeling the stretch of an economy that isn’t making anything easier. We fund what we can through our plant sale fundraisers and our own pockets, because we believe in this crazy idea that MOTHS bring people together.

This year, we’re inviting individuals, local businesses, and anyone who loves what we’re doing to help us keep it going and keep it free! After you purchase a sponsorship we will reach out to you regarding the perks associated with your sponsorship tier. There is no need for you to submit a separate registration. We will be issuing you a special reserved registration that is manually created on our ticketing platform.
