Our Experience
We have had the “Husker Red” penstemon cultivar in our habitat from the beginning of our adventures in creating a butterfly habitat. It has been a sturdy plant that tolerates our benign neglect. We decided to add this species to see how well it performs and is liked by the pollinators.
