Our Experience

Wild senna is a member of the Pea Family and a relative of Sicklepod. This bushy plant will easily grow tall and leafy and thrives on benign neglect. The leaves are used by both the Cloudless Sulphur and Sleepy Orange butterfly.

The buttery yellow-orange flowers are favored by an assortment of bees. No matter how big and tall our wild senna plants grow by the end of the summer they are leafless stems because of the hungry caterpillars.
