Our Experience

Like other members of the Pycnanthemum genus, Virginia mountain mint is an insect magnet! When the flowers are in bloom the insect activity is incredible! Rubbing the leaves and stems of this plant releases a minty scent.

We’ve noted that this mountain mint has not sprawled out like its cousins short-toothed or hoary. Our has tended to be a little floppy, too, so be sure to give it some support.
